the staff were fabulous, helpful and friendly. the hotel was very clean, including fresh decorations and carpets. i loved having mugs instead of cups in the room.
the steam room was sadly out of action.

lovely poolsteam room
The games room was quite enjoyable. It offered boxed games and pool tables. There was also a lovely pool area that featured a steam room and jacuzzi. Reception provided towels, which I appreciated.
The bar was poorly stocked. There was no bottle cider available.
